Guiyang Municipality grants high-level talents housing subsidies of 2.75 Million

On Nov 24, 2020, Guiyang Municipality held a ceremony to grant housing subsidies of 2.75 million yuan ($419.1) to 24 high-level professionals who were either directly recruited by companies or business owners of start-ups.

The housing subsidy has been granted in line with Measures by Guiyang Municipality on Introduction of High-level Talents and Notice on Granting Housing Subsidies to High-level Professionals Directly Recruited by Companies or Business Owners of Start-ups, following the review and notification procedures in place. Twenty-four qualified professionals, including General Manager Huang Yong of Guizhou Geely Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd, received housing subsidies totaling 2.75 million yuan.

In view of industrial upgrading requirements, the 2020 grant includes newly incorporated Guian New District and has an expanded scope to cover central and provincial companies and university/research institute talents starting businesses in Guiyang. Front-line real-economy professionals have been prioritized for accreditation.

Guiyang Municipality will comprehensively help high-end professionals working in the city address accommodation issues, enabling a better living and business environment, and will also offer a growing set of favorable policies, services and platforms to be updated on an ongoing basis.

Since 2014, Guiyang Municipality has granted over 10 million yuan in housing subsidies.
