Guiyang-Anshun New Area uses livestreaming to attract talents

Since Guiyang-Anshun new area (hereinafter referred to as Guian) launched a series of online recruitment activities on Nov 12, it has attracted considerable attention from many employers and job seekers.

The long-awaited livestream recruitment event was successfully held on Nov 26, attracting 48,000 online viewers who made 1,747 comments. A total of 3,518 resumes were submitted.

Guiyang and Guian hold talent attraction activities annually. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak this year, talent attraction activities are being carried out online. So far, the online recruitment series of activities have attracted more than 140 enterprises. These companies cover 28 fields, including the high tech, medicine, finance, food, manufacturing and service sectors, with a whopping 4,000 job opportunities on offer.

The livestream recruitment event fully demonstrated the benefits of working in Guiyang city and the high-tech zone by showcasing its talent policy, displaying images of the area and allowing guests and companies to share their experiences.

Five enterprises – including KingMed Diagnostics Group Co., Ltd and Leture Technology – participated in the livestream. The five enterprises' heads introduced their companies' advantages, working environments, salaries and positions to attract job seekers to work in Guiyang and join their companies.

By Nov 26 at 10:30 pm, the high-tech zone had received 672 resumes, and the five enterprises involved in the livestream had received 202 resumes. After the live broadcast, these enterprises quickly organized interviews for job seekers.

Qin Yan, director of the Human Resource Service Center of Guiyang National High-tech Zone Organization and Human Resources Department, was invited to join in the online interaction as a special guest. She answered hot questions related to talent apartments, talent green cards and the talent town. Job seekers were also able to watch the online introduction to learn about the talent policy, employers and available positions.

The online recruitment series activities aimed to build up a platform between enterprises and job seekers that allows for barrier-free and convenient communication. "By Nov 26, the online platform had released job information from 140 enterprises, involving 754 job opportunities requiring 4,335 talents. More job information will be available online," said a staff member of Guiyang's talent service center.

Guian will hold three more livestreaming recruitment activities this year and invite more than 10 enterprises. The next one will be held at 7:00 pm on December 3. Recruitment managers from four to six enterprises from the economic development zone will join in the livestream. Job seekers can submit resumes through multiple channels, including the 51 job website, Guiyang human resource website and Zhu Rencai App.
