The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security recently publicized the fifth list of national entrepreneurial incubation demonstration bases and its evaluation of the first four groups and the city of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – made the grade in both categories.
The innovation and entrepreneurship center at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and the entrepreneurship incubation base at the big data e-commerce industry cluster in Nanming district of Guiyang were chosen for inclusion.
Elsewhere, the university student pioneer park of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the science and technology park of Guiyang University passed re-evaluation as previously selected national entrepreneurial incubation bases.
In recent years, Guiyang has made the establishment of entrepreneurial incubation bases an important priority for promoting and supporting independent entrepreneurship.
At present, Guiyang has built 17 entrepreneurial incubation bases, including three at the national level, 11 at the provincial level, 12 at the municipal level and five at the district level.
Moving forwards, Guiyang will further boost the establishment of entrepreneurial incubation bases and do the best job it can identifying prospective candidate centers – as well as helping with guidance, providing services and supervision – so as to effectively play a leading role for entrepreneurial incubation bases.
