Guiyang, Guian launch talent and industrial project attraction plan

The city of Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province recently launched a plan to offer subsidies and rewards to talent and projects involving key industries.

According to the plan, individuals and teams will receive up to 100 million yuan ($15.66 million) in rewards and technological innovation platforms and technological achievement commercialization centers co-built by individuals or teams from world-famous universities and research institutions will receive a subsidy of up to 200 million yuan.

Technological achievement commercialization projects will receive up to 3 billion yuan in investment from government and private funds.

Guizhou Kexin Tire Networking Technology Co has expressed interest in this plan. It signed with the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in June to establish a technological innovation and achievement commercialization base for the integration of vehicle (tire) networking with other businesses.

The zone has already provided 5,000 square meters of discount office area for the company and will provide another 10,000 sq m of temporary office area in the next three years.

In addition, the zone will invest 25 million yuan in cash in the company's research projects. In the first half of next year, the company will establish an R&D office and a marketing base covering an area of 80,000 sq m and an advanced manufacturing industrial park in the zone.

To date, the company has received an investment of nearly 6.6 billion yuan, and its annual sales are expected to reach 13 billion yuan in the future.
