A job fair for college and university graduates in Southwest China's Guizhou province was launched at Guizhou University in Guiyang, on Dec 16.
"It is the largest job fair held in recent years, attracting participation from 1,091 companies in Guiyang and Guian New Area, providing 13,878 jobs," said Lin Kaizheng, deputy director of Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security.

At the job fair, 145 companies promoted 3,756 jobs to students, with big data and industrial manufacturing firms accounting for nearly 50 percent.
In addition to participating in the offline job fair, university and college students can also submit their resumes online through the Zhu Talent APP.
"Many graduates have reached initial agreements with our company," said Liu Jia, deputy director of the general management department of Guiyang Equipment Manufacturing Intelligent Technology Research Institute Co.

Liu added that the company attached great importance to the event, and provided positions covering economic management, electrical and optics, which will provide the opportunity for talented workers to grow their skills.
Yao Songshan, a graduate from Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, said that the list of companies and jobs advertised at the fair has given him a lot of help. By referring to the list, he can better clarify his thoughts and find a position that suits him.
