Guiyang helps graduates with jobs, business start-ups

The Guiyang bureau of human resources and social security has made great efforts to ensure the employment and entrepreneurship of university and college graduates.

In 2021, Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – supported and helped more than 60,000 graduates in this area.

Focusing on the key industries of electronics information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, software and information technology, the bureau carried out a raft of recruitment activities.

As a result, throughout the year, 73,959 jobs were collected for graduates, involving 3,308 companies.

In the 2022 employment and entrepreneurship activity for graduates in Guizhou, lectures, discussions and job fairs were held to land high-quality jobs for graduates.

Guiyang also rolled out nine policies and measures designed to help out with graduate employment and entrepreneurship, which have been widely publicized and reported through the news media.

Online job fairs were also organized. Graduates can apply with their resumes through the Zhu Talent app and the Guiyang Talent Network. In 2021, a total of 18,325 resumes were received online.

In addition, the bureau is committed to providing graduates with convenient and intelligent services. In 2021, 16,311 household registration files were transferred for graduates, while 2,579 academic certifications were processed.
