Eligible 2022 graduates who are children of disabled parents or suffer from disabilities themselves can apply for job-seeking and entrepreneurship subsidies, according to the Guiyang Disabled Persons' Federation.

All applicants for the subsidies must be from Southwest China's Guizhou province, a graduate of one of the province's general institutions of higher learning, secondary vocational schools, or technical colleges, and have the will to find employment or start a business in their year of graduation.

In addition, graduates must be able to present a disability certificate for either themselves or one of their parents.

The subsidy includes 1,000 yuan ($158.44) per person, which is mainly used to subsidize relevant expenses for graduates in the process of job hunting and entrepreneurship.

Eligible graduates must apply for the subsidies before Sept 26 this year.

Applicants can only apply once, even if their situation satisfies multiple requirements.
