Much-wanted talent get housing subsidies in Guiyang

Hu Changhua, chief engineer and manager of the operation department of the Guiyang Energy Group Co – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was recently successful in getting a housing subsidy of 600,000 yuan ($94,960)

He is one of the in-demand professionals who have secured the benefit since the introduction of policies and measures for talent in Guiyang and Guian New Area.

Born in Neijiang city in Southwest China's Sichuan province, Hu is an energy technology expert who enjoys special government allowances from the State Council and who has been engaged in energy technology research and applications for a long time.

After the introduction of attractive policies and benefits for such people in Guiyang and Guian in 2021, he really rated their positive environment for much-needed professionals and accepted the post as chief engineer of Guiyang Energy.

Hu said he loved Guiyang's climate and environment and was bullish about the city's future development. In less than half a year, he decided to move his household registration to Guiyang and bought property in Nanming district.

In recent years, Guiyang and Guian have continued to introduce more preferential policies for top-flight individuals to settle down there.

Moving forwards, plans are for the two to provide more policy and financial support, so more of such folks can work or start up businesses of their own.
