Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province are scheduled to collect 140,000 job positions by the end of May – focusing on the 2022 graduates of colleges and universities in the province, according to a seminar held on March 14.
From March to May, a series of promotions and campus recruitment activities will be carried out and to date 124,000 jobs have been collected.
Guiyang and Guian will also implement policies and measures to ensure the full and stable employment of 273,000 graduates from colleges and universities in the province.
In terms of housing guarantees, the two are planning a rental and saleable housing security system for new hires and will draft more extensive and favorable housing policies than before, providing rental subsidies and housing discounts for graduates.
Social insurance subsidies will be given to those with employment difficulties – and graduates who have not been employed within two years of leaving school – to achieve flexible employment. In addition, the minimum wage will be raised in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, Guiyang and Guian will implement tax reduction policies for small-scale taxpayers, small low-profit enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households.
In addition, housing discounts for talent, high-quality study positions and medical security will be provided to graduates, to reduce their living costs.
It is understood that all colleges and universities in Guizhou will further improve their contacts with government departments in Guiyang and Guian, to help more graduates remain in the region for their employment and entrepreneurship.
