In order to provide talent with better living conditions, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, built the Guiyang Young Talent Apartments and Guiyang Municipal Senior Talent Apartments in accordance with relevant national policies and talent service needs.
The apartments are operated by Guiyang Renting and Service for Talents Co.

The Guiyang Youth Talent Apartments opened in 2017.
To meet the varying needs of young people, the apartments provide has a variety of room sizes – including 25 square meters, 55 sq m, 60 sq m, and 150 sq m. The monthly rent ranges from 660 yuan ($94.31) to 2,050 yuan.
There are convenience stores, restaurants, gyms, libraries, activity rooms, express stations, basketball courts and other living facilities in the apartment complexes. Rent can be paid monthly, quarterly, biannually, or annually, and tenants can also receive rental subsidies.

To provide more recreational options and improve their work skills, a series of talent activities have also been organized, such as free vocational skills training, food production salons, and exchange and sharing sessions for tenants living in the apartments.
