Southwest China's Guizhou province recently issued its 2022 "skilled Guizhou" plans, clarifying that the province will work to provide more than 35 million vocational training opportunities.
Throughout the year, the province plans to cultivate more than 200,000 "Guizhou technicians" with vocational grade (vocational qualification) certificates and special vocational ability certificates.
Starting in 2022, teachers and students at the province's technical and vocational colleges will fully implement the recognition of vocational skills and issue vocational skill level (vocational qualification) certificates according to regulations.
With the help of highly-skilled talent training bases and skilled professional studios, Guizhou will help enterprises independently carry out skill level identification and encourage professional and technical personnel to participate in vocational evaluations to expand the number of highly-skilled talent.
The province's vocational training infrastructure will also be improved, as each qualified city and prefecture has been directed to establish one technician college, and each qualified county has been directed to establish one technical school.
In addition, Guizhou will increase the allocation ratio of highly-skilled talent in various types of recognition and honor selections at all levels.
