In order to lure graduates to Guiyang and Guian for employment and entrepreneurship, the two have organized multiple rounds of jobs fairs at colleges and universities and rolled out a package of competitive policies, focusing on this year's 275,800 graduates in the province.
The generous human resources policies and recruitment packages – pitched at attracting and retaining talent – have given graduates full confidence in the future of the two places.
"When I learned about the policies related to renting a house in the promotional video, it especially strengthened my idea about staying in Guiyang," said Liu Lingyan, a 2022 graduate of the Guizhou Vocational College of Industry & Commerce.
On March 28, the Guizhou University of Commerce and Guizhou Changtong Group signed a strategic agreement. As a result, the two will cooperate to build off-campus practice teaching bases, as well as work together in recruitment, training and talent sharing.
Under the accord, the company will get outstanding young people recommended by the university to work for it.
Guiyang and Guian have also provided training opportunities for people needed for the development of enterprises in a targeted manner. The focus has been on leading industries, key enterprises and industrial parks.
In 2021, Guiyang and Guian will select and train more than 700 young people and train more than 67,000 professional and technical personnel and skilled talent.
