Guiyang, Guian New Area launch talent month

The 2022 talent month for Guiyang and Guian New Area – located in Southwest China's Guizhou province – was launched on May 7 at the Guiyang Human Resources Service Industrial Park and the event will run to May 31.

An online recruitment season for university and college students was also launched on the day.

At the launch ceremony, a Guiyang and Guian talent promotional video was played and a talent housing security plan and housing distribution map were released, among other things.

In addition, representatives from the project teams that won gold, silver and bronze awards in the 2022 Zhuchuanghui university and college student science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship competition were presented with their awards.

During the 2022 talent month, Guiyang and Guian will organize more than 200 activities, both on-site and online.

For university and college graduates and outstanding young people, the two will hold a series of online special job fairs and key industry experts and talent exchange symposiums.

A market-oriented and effective exchange and cooperation platform will be introduced, integrating talent exchanges, project cooperation and recruiting, to provide strong human resources support for Guiyang and Guian's development.

Since October 2017, the number of talents in Guiyang has increased by more than 410,000, at an average annual growth rate of 9.5 percent.
