Guiyang launches HR services industrial park

The new China Guiyang Human Resources (HR) Service Industrial Park was officially launched on May 7 in Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – at the 10th Guizhou Professionals Convention.

Efforts will be made to make it a major HR development industrial base whose influence extends throughout western China. It aims to provide strong HR support for promoting the development of Guiyang and the nearby Guian New Area.

At the end of last year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security gave the green light to establish the facility, joining the first group of such parks approved by it during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).

This marked a rapid development period and a new stage in the construction of HR Service industrial parks in Guizhou in terms of improving their quality and efficiency. They are now moving into specialization and digital development, among other things.

Under the plan, by the end of 2025, the park will be home to more than 150 HR service institutions, including 40 domestic well-known HR services groups, with more than 40,000 jobs provided annually.

What's more, the annual operating income of the park is projected to top 10 billion yuan ($1.47 billion).
