Guiyang attracts talent through scientific, technological event

The final of the 2022 Guiyang College Student Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Guiyang on May 6.

A total of 22 application projects involving electronic information manufacturing, medicine, big data software information service industry, tourism and other fields from 11 colleges and universities across the country participated in the finals.

"We are honored to participate in the finals and sign a contract with Guizhou Guerkang Innovation Technology Co, which will help us move forward in product innovation and integration," said Liang Lan, the project leader who successfully signed a contract at the final.

"Youth are the most energetic and creative demographic group. The purpose of this competition is to showcase Guiyang's technological innovation and entrepreneurship resources to college students and entrepreneurs both inside and outside the province, as well as to attract more young makers to take root in Guiyang," said Jiang Fangju, director of the Guiyang bureau of science and technology.

In recent years, the science and technology bureau has been focusing on "rejuvenating the market with talent", giving top priority to the development of human resources, and making every effort to attract talent.

The bureau has built a platform for technological innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultivated, excavated and selected a number of outstanding entrepreneurial college student teams to develop in Guiyang and Guian New Area.

In addition, the bureau has formulated a series of policies around entrepreneurship settlement, project start-up services, industrial resource links, and financial services.
