Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province on May 11 released this year's catalogue of talent demands.
The catalogue focuses on State-owned manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, electronic information manufacturing, aluminum and aluminum processing, the phosphorus chemical industry, ecological specialty foods and health medicine.
It also focuses on the software information technology services industry, as well as businesses in such key industries as finance and agriculture.

A total of 298 key enterprises with 1,352 job positions have been identified. These include 60 businesses in the field of big data and 142 enterprises in high-tech industries and in the modern manufacturing industries.
The catalogue will serve as an important basis for enterprises to declare and cash in salary subsidies and talent settlement fees.
Individuals who are introduced to corresponding positions on the catalogue can enjoy a one-time settling-in allowance after they arrive in Guiyang or Guian.
Those with senior professional titles can get a relocation allowance of 60,000 yuan ($8,858), with 48,000 yuan for those with doctorates (senior technicians), 24,000 yuan for master's degree holders (deputy senior professional titles, technicians) and 12,000 yuan for undergraduates (senior employees).
Enterprises that recruit new hires via the catalogue can also enjoy a two-year salary subsidy. This comprises 3,000 yuan, 2,000 yuan, 1,000 yuan and 500 yuan per person per month for those with senior professional titles, doctorates (senior technicians), master's degree holders (those with deputy senior professional titles, technicians) and undergraduates (senior workers), respectively.
