A talent policy fulfillment ceremony for Guiyang and Guian New Area was held at the China Guiyang Human Resources Service Industrial Park – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on May 11 to cash talent award funds for a number of enterprises and talent.
This was a part of the 2022 Guiyang and Guian Talent Month event, which started on May 7 and will last until May 31.
That day, 14 companies received subsidies of 260,000 yuan ($38,257.5) for talent introduction, 66 talents received a settling-in allowance of 972,000 yuan, one talent received a talent housing subsidy of 150,000 yuan, and 272 high-level talents were received Guiyang talent service green cards.
Guiyang and Guian have focused on key industrial enterprises and urgently needed talent, worked to reduce the cost of talent introduction and employment, and focused on issues related to talent, including innovation and entrepreneurship, medical treatment, children's schooling, and family employment and housing.
So far, Guiyang and Guian have issued Guiyang talent service green cards to 1,041 people and paid 50.88 million yuan in awards and subsidies for various types of talent, including housing subsidies, living allowances, salary subsidies for enterprise introduction, a talent settling-in allowance, and talent medical insurance subsidies.
