Guizhou University promotes employment among graduates

Guizhou University – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has attached heavy importance to employment among graduates.

Since the beginning of this year, the main leaders of Guizhou University have been visiting enterprises to promote school-enterprise cooperation and open up more employment and entrepreneurial positions and opportunities for 2022 graduates.

The university has successively signed cooperation agreements with Moutai Group, Guizhou Panjiang Coal and Electricity Refco Group, the Guizhou Provincial People's Procuratorate, and the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.

Yunyan, Nanming and Huaxi districts in Guiyang have been invited to the university to hold special job fairs to expand high-quality jobs for 2022 graduates.

The university has also raised funds from various sources and is expected to invest 42 million yuan ($6.26 million) in implementing policy-oriented jobs.

In addition, the university has self-raised 5 million yuan in special funds to set up 340 scientific research and administrative assistant positions for 2022 graduates.
