Guizhou organizes employment assistance event

A Guizhou employment assistance event and special job fair for people with difficulties finding jobs was held in Nanming district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 1.

The event focused on assisting families who have been unemployed for more than one year, elderly people, families with minimum living allowances, registered unemployed persons with disabilities, families lifted out of poverty, families with no employed people, graduates who have not been employed for a long time, and other people with difficulty finding jobs.

A policy consultation station was set up at the job fair and 84 companies were invited to participate, providing 2,840 job positions in accounting, supermarkets, and housekeeping services.

Guizhou will continue to organize similar employment assistance events to provide jobs, services, policy information and help for those struggling to find jobs.
