Guiyang vocational competition takes place

The Guiyang Industrial Enterprise Staff Vocational Competition was held at Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic College in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 11-12.

The competition was hosted by the Guiyang Federation of Trade Unions and Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security.

The competition was divided into aluminum alloy parts processing and medium carbon steel parts processing.

During the two-day competition, contestants competed with numerical control milling projects, and performed programming, tool selection, tool installation, and tool offset setting according to technical drawings.

The first, second and third prize winners were awarded 3,000 yuan ($443.22), 2,000 yuan and 1,000 yuan, respectively, and will participate in the first Guizhou Industrial Enterprise Staff Vocational Competition.
