Guizhou skilled graduates have more employment opportunities

In recent years, Southwest China's Guizhou province has been focusing on training and cultivating skilled talent, guiding them to participate in various competitions, improving the training system for skilled talent, and increasing the employment rate.

The Guizhou team won one first prize and six second prizes at the final of the National Industrial and Information Technology Competition held in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, on Aug 20.

Various vocational schools in Guizhou have held a number of online and offline job fairs to increase the employment rate.

Since the beginning of this year, Guizhou Light Industry Technical College has held more than 30 online and offline job fairs, providing more than 25,000 jobs.

In the past five years, the employment rate among students of Guizhou Vocational College of Foodstuff Engineering has reached more than 90 percent. The college has invited well-known companies to give lectures on campus. So far, the school has held 45 corporate lectures, providing more than 10,000 jobs.

To help students expand employment channels, Guizhou Vocational College of Industry & Commerce has signed cooperation agreements with more than 100 enterprises inside and outside the province, such as Huawei, JD and Sunac.
