Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has taken multiple measures to stabilize employment, achieving impressive results.
Through WeChat working groups, WeChat public accounts, online livestream activities and text messages, the county has promoted its employment policies.
So far, the employment guarantee policies have been pushed to 4,471 enterprises through online platforms, and more than 2,000 publicity materials have been distributed.
The county has implemented various entrepreneurship support policies such as entrepreneurship assistance loans and financing guarantee loans to promote entrepreneurship and employment.
A total of 956,500 yuan ($138,596.65) has been issued to 451 people in rental subsidies for entrepreneurial places, 2.04 million yuan in self-employment incentives have been issued to 1,009 people, and 10.49 million yuan in entrepreneurial assistance loans have been issued to 74 people.
For qualified enterprises, subsidies have been distributed in place in a timely manner, so that enterprises can enjoy the benefits of the county's policies.
Since 2022, deferred payment business has been handled for 13 insured enterprises in the county, involving 688,400 yuan in deferred payment of social insurance premiums (including 605,900 yuan for endowment insurance, 26,500 yuan for unemployment insurance, and 56,000 yuan for work-related injury insurance).
Xifeng has also developed public welfare jobs for groups with employment difficulties. So far, the county has placed 2,277 public welfare posts, including 1,990 rural public welfare posts and 287 urban public welfare posts.
