Guiyang shared agricultural innovation city in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently identified as an entrepreneurship demonstration base for migrant workers returning to Guiyang.
An entrepreneurship demonstration base for returning migrant workers refers to a base that has been confirmed to have centralized and unified planning, can provide returning migrant workers with sites and management services required for production and operation, and can accommodate a certain scale of returning migrant workers and sign a written agreement with them.
Once such a base is identified, the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security will provide it with a one-time subsidy of 200,000 yuan ($27,903.51).
In recent years, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security has continued to promote the construction of migrant worker entrepreneurship parks and sites, contributing to the province's poverty alleviation and rural vitalization.
By the end of 2021, the province had established 99 entrepreneurship parks and 233 entrepreneurship sites for migrant workers, and identified 53 provincial-level entrepreneurship demonstration parks and 53 sites for migrant workers.
