Tsinghua University students participate in Guiyang talent exchange conference

The 2023 Guiyang talent supply and demand exchange conference for Tsinghua University was held in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 11.

More than 20 master's and doctoral students from Tsinghua University visited the office buildings of companies in Guiyang, learned about Guizhou's talent policy, and talked with company employees face to face.

At the conference, leading companies from the military, transportation, electric power, big data and other fields introduced their development history, personnel structure, core competitiveness, future plans, and job openings.

Relevant provincial and municipal human resource departments introduced a series of talent policies such as green talent introduction channels, talent subsidies, and housing purchase guarantees.

Wang Haiyang, a doctoral student at the School of Materials Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, said that Guizhou is rich in mineral resources, and he had considered visiting and studying related companies before. He said he hoped to have the opportunity to return to Guizhou to contribute to the high-quality economic development of his hometown.
