Guizhou Professionals Convention to kick off soon

The 11th Guizhou Professionals Convention is set to kick off in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 22, according to a news conference held on April 14.

At the opening ceremony of the convention, the 2023 catalog of talent shortages in key industries in Guizhou will be released, a promotional video on talent work will be played, and speeches by experts and academicians will be held.

A series of forums will be held, inviting academicians, well-known scholars, corporate presidents, and industry leaders to talk about the high-quality development of Guizhou's talent career in the new era.

During the event which will last throughout the year, 10 special job fairs will be organized for central government-owned enterprises, cultural tourism enterprises and major enterprises engaged in new energy batteries and materials.

In addition, talent policies such as the "college and university graduates staying in Guizhou action" and the "senior talent plan" – introducing and retaining a group of senior professors, experts and scientific and technological workers to promote the high-quality economic and social development of Guizhou – will be released and publicized.
