Guiyang, Guian eager to find talent at Guizhou Professions Convention

Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province set 70 booths at the 11th Guizhou Professions Convention which is ongoing on April 22-23.

More than 100 enterprises and institutions in Guiyang and Guian with strong reputations, good treatment of talent and high levels of recruitment participated in the event.

According to the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, 641 types of jobs are being offered to 4,949 people by large State-owned enterprises such as Guiyang Industrial Development Holding as well as Fortune Global 500 companies such as Hengli (Guizhou) Textile Intelligent Technology Co.

The Guihang Guiyang Hospital prepared seven jobs related to clinical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation, laboratory work, pharmacy work, journalism, and nursing.

Zhou Haiping, director of the hospital's human resources department, said, "More than 50 resumes have been received online. Today, 26 resumes were received offline."

Wen Jing, a recent graduate, is a master's student in applied economics at Xihua University. She lives in Guiyang and hopes to return to her hometown to find a job after graduation. In order to find a satisfactory job at the convention, she deliberately returned to Guiyang from Chengdu to talk with the company that received her resume.

A consulting point for rental housing for talent is also set up on-site to introduce four levels of a housing security system for talent to attract more talent to work in Guiyang and Guian.
