Guiyang firms ally with polytechnic to foster fresh talent

Guiyang Industrial Investment Co, Guiyang Industrial Talent Service Co and Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement on May 15.

On the same day, the three sides unveiled the Guiyang Industrial Talent Demonstration Staff Training Base, which will promote higher education for adults, major construction projects, the continued development of school-based teaching materials, and the commercialization of technological achievements.

They will jointly carry out talent training in the intelligent manufacturing industry, build a talent training system and scientific research innovation mechanism that can adapt to the development of vocational education, and form a new kind of vocational education system that develops scientific research and teaching in a coordinated manner.

Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic already has national-level training bases for numerical control systems for machine tools and automobiles.

In recent years, the school has introduced dozens of well-known enterprises from inside and outside the province to participate in the construction of school management training bases, providing a solid quality assurance foundation and export channels to train fresh talent.

Guiyang Industrial Investment Co has established a number of talent cultivation platforms with colleges and universities in the province to attract fresh talent for enterprises that belong to the municipal industrial investment system.
