Youths gather in Guiyang for big data innovation, entrepreneurship

The Qingshuju Asian Youth Big Data Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 25.

Guests gathered to exchange and learn from the achievements and experiences of Asian youths in big data innovation and entrepreneurship.

The forum included keynote speeches, roundtable exchanges, and other events.

At the forum, the Qingshuju Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund was officially launched. The fund will collect scientific and technological innovation projects from young entrepreneurs, teams and individuals in Guizhou, and will provide financial support of 100,000 yuan ($14,088) to each of 10 scientific and technological innovation projects that successfully pass an expert review.

Also, the Qingshuju Guian Cloud Valley Science and Technology Incubation Base was established. The base will serve as a platform supporting young people's innovation and entrepreneurship in terms of big data.

It will provide support and assistance for the introduction and implementation of digital industry-related enterprises, financing, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and cooperation.

The "Guizhou youth development friendship big data index report" was also released at the forum. It showed that entrepreneurship among young people in Guizhou is steadily rising.
