The Third Guiyang Jiaxiu Craftsman Skills Competition opened on June 14 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and will last until June 16.

Hosted by the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, the competition aims to provide a platform for talents to demonstrate their superb skills.
The competition focuses on the fields of electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, the health and pharmaceutical industry, and modern services, with 13 competition projects including engineering, new energy vehicle intelligent technology, and restaurant services having been set up.
A total of 798 contestants from 105 teams signed up for the competition.
The competition will select "Guiyang Technical Experts" and "Jiaxiu Craftsmen", and award bonuses and certificates to the winners.
