Guiyang and Guian in Southwest China's Guizhou province have been working tirelessly to attract more talented people from Central South University in Changsha, the capital of Central China's Hunan province, to promote Guiyang's high-quality development.
On June 21, 24 key enterprises from Guiyang and Guian visited Central South University to conduct job-matching activities. Officials also exchanged views with the university's graduates' employment department.
This move is part of the local government's strategy to promote talent growth in the region in order to provide talent guarantees and strong momentum for the "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" initiative.
During the event, officials from the employment guidance department of Central South University introduced its academic programs, advantages in various disciplines, and the situation of local students. They expressed hope of deepening cooperation with Guiyang and Guian in terms of supplying professional talents and the employment of graduates.
Guiyang and Guian also introduced their local talent development policies and resources, and invited outstanding students from Central South University to come to the region to showcase their talents and realize their personal value.
The event attracted 24 key enterprises from the region, bringing a total of 432 vacancies in 98 job categories.
The university and Guiyang also signed an agreement aimed at promoting more exchanges and cooperation in the future.
Both sides will adhere to the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit, collaborative innovation, and practicality," in order to create a long-term communication mechanism between local enterprises and high-quality universities to facilitate talent development and promote economic growth.
