Job fair held for returning rural workers

A special job fair for returning rural workers in the Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province was held on July 12 in Guian.

Over 30 companies provided more than 1,000 well-paid job positions for returning rural workers during the fair.

These covered various industries including production and manufacturing, home furnishings, cleaning services, construction engineering, and catering services.

A policy consultation desk was also set up at the site to provide job seekers with information on labor guarantee laws and regulations, as well as employment and entrepreneurship policies.

More than 1,500 job seekers participated in the job fair, with over 100 preliminary agreements of intent reached to secure work and more than 800 employment brochures distributed.
