The first livestreaming event to matchmake jobs with jobseekers attracted more than 12,400 online viewers and saw 1,656 resumes submitted online on Aug 16.
Hosted by the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, and organized by the Guiyang Talent Service Center, the event proved a great success for the participating companies.
Starting at 10 am, representatives from eight companies introduced their firms' development, job vacancies, salary packages, and other relevant information via the livestream.
To address jobseekers' concerns about companies' development plans, talent development programs, salaries, and benefits, the event let both sides interact, enabling more precise matching between talents and companies.
The event host also provided detailed explanations of Guiyang's talent policies, helping young talents gain a better understanding of the state of the job market and the employment policies in Guiyang and Guian New Area.
Within just two hours, 34 positions were offered, including executive assistants, executive assistants to the president, accountants, management trainees, engineers, and English teachers.
These positions covered various categories, including administrative roles and professional technology, with 255 applicants in total.
From now until the end of the year, the organizers plan to hold livestreaming events once a month to promote available jobs, inviting eight to 10 representatives from outstanding companies to interact with prospective candidates on a one-on-one basis.
