Guiyang and Guian roll out plan for high-quality development of vocational training

Guiyang City and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province will cultivate skilled talent in five aspects, according to a plan for the high-quality development of vocational training in the two regions.

Focusing on the development needs of key industries such as big data, equipment manufacturing, new energy batteries and materials in Guiyang and Guian, training standards will be established and professional training brands such as "Jiaxiu Data," "Jiaxiu Manufacturing" and "Jiaxiu Energy" will be created.

School-enterprise cooperation between vocational and technical colleges and industrial enterprises will be promoted, encouraging and supporting the establishment of "customized classes" and "job-oriented classes".

By 2025, a total of 30,000 training opportunities for professionals in the big data industry, 10,000 training opportunities for professionals in the equipment manufacturing industry, and 3,000 training opportunities for professionals in the new energy battery and materials industry will be provided.

In addition, all social work and volunteer service stations in townships and towns in Guiyang and Guian will be completed by 2025, and the number of social workers will exceed 17,500.

Vocational and technical colleges, catering industry associations, and enterprises are encouraged to participate in the development of Guizhou dishes, and promote related vocational competitions and entrepreneurship and innovation competitions.

By 2025, two to five vocational training centers or professional workshops for Guizhou dishes will be established, with more than 6,000 people to be trained.

In addition, efforts will be made to cultivate housekeeping service personnel and skilled tourism professionals.
