Guiyang and Guian to begin recruiting talent from outside Guizhou

Guiyang City and Guian New Area will begin recruitment activities outside Guizhou province for the second half, according to the Guiyang Talent Service Center on Nov 9.

In mid to late November, Guiyang and Guian will arrange for employers to conduct talent recruitment activities at universities in Changsha, Wuhan, Xiamen, and other cities.

This move aims to attract outstanding talent to Guiyang to innovate and start businesses, and 120 companies will provide 614 positions for 3,537 talents.

This year's recruitment activities will be conducted through a combination of online and physical promotion activities, university talent recruitment fairs, and on-site signing events.

The target universities for talent recruitment are those with a relatively high number of students from Guizhou and majors that align with important industries in Guiyang and Guian. 

As of Nov 8, the organizers of the activities had received recruitment demands from 120 companies, covering industries such as big data, electronic information manufacturing, and advanced equipment manufacturing.

All talent demand information will be compiled into a "White Paper on Talent Demand for Guiyang and Guian's Talent Recruitment Activities in 2023." It will be distributed for free during on-site recruitment activities at key universities and talent markets nationwide.
