Event attracting talent for Guiyang and Guian ends with fruitful results

The 2023 Guiyang City and Guian New Area talent attraction series event made its final stop at Taiyuan University of Technology on Nov 27, concluding a series of offline activities aimed at luring talented human resources from outside Guiyang.

Since its inception on Nov 14, the event organized by the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, in collaboration with nearly 50 enterprises and organizations, was held in Central South University, Nanchang University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, Xiamen University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Taiyuan University of Technology.

It targeted industries such as big data, electronic information manufacturing, and advanced equipment manufacturing. Over 600 kinds of positions were made available, offering a total of 3,537 vacancies.

During the event, Guiyang and Guian signed talent workstation construction agreements and awarded plaques to Nanchang University, Xiamen University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Taiyuan University of Technology.

The event resulted in preliminary intentions of employment from 666 people, including 14 with doctoral degrees and 446 with master's degrees. Also, 19 individuals, including two with doctoral degrees and 12 with master's degrees, signed work contracts.
