Two schools in Guiyang approved as national high-skilled talent training bases

The Guiyang Healthcare Vocational University and Guizhou Electronic Technology College in Guiyang were recently approved as national high-skilled talent training bases (social production and life services category), as announced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance.

Drawing on its strong healthcare education, Guiyang Healthcare Vocational University has established a high-level technical and skilled personnel training system.

Focusing on training high-tech talents in the industries of healthcare for elderly people and modern housekeeping, the university has been promoting the construction of a high-skilled talent training base for the healthcare industry and has been training more than 20,000 high-caliber talents each year.

In recent years, Guizhou Electronic Technology College has focused on the industries of big data technology, intelligent manufacturing, internet of things, intelligent connected vehicles technology, and e-commerce to cultivate talents.

The college has also deepened its cooperation in discipline planning, textbook development, curriculum design, and order-based training.

Guiyang Healthcare Vocational University will focus on the development needs of the healthcare industry to promote the construction of a career development system for healthcare vocational education. This will combine short-term training and order-based training, employee training and academic promotion, technology research and business innovation, and skills certification and talent evaluation.

Guizhou Electronic Technology College will continue to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents, skilled craftsmen, and master craftsmen. It will deepen its cooperation with Huawei to improve professional standards, curriculum systems, and training faculty.
