Guiyang's efforts to ensure stable employment pay off

In 2023, the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security has made every effort to stabilize employment, contributing to the city's high-quality economic and social development.

More than 400 recruitment activities of various types have been carried out, and 6 municipal internship bases were added, enabling 102,700 college and university graduates to choose Guiyang for employment and entrepreneurship.

Also, 16 odd job markets and 17 odd job stations have been built to optimize flexible employment services.

Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang has sent 44,300 laborers to other provinces, built 39 employment assistance workshops or bases, and provided employment to 11,800 people.

Also, 29 labor service brands were cultivated and recognized, creating employment for 200,000 people.

So far, the city has built 31 entrepreneurial incubation bases, with 1,733 entrepreneurial entities now incubating and creating employment for 6,324 people.

An additional 288 million yuan ($40.48 million) of entrepreneurial guaranteed loans were issued, and 3 million yuan of entrepreneurial subsidies were issued to returning migrant workers.

In addition, Guiyang also held the Human Resources Service Industry Innovation Competition for the first time, and the "Xinmochou" project won the second prize in the National Human Resources Service Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
