Guiyang and Gui'an create more than 150,000 jobs in 2023

Last year, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area implemented the "Talent-Driven City" strategy, which made significant progress.

In 2023, Guiyang and Gui'an provided a cumulative total of 199,100 job positions, with 154,000 new urban jobs created. They also saw that every household had at least one employed person.

Throughout the year, Guiyang and Gui'an organized various job fairs to their expand employment channels.

From July to December alone, they conducted 53 public recruitment events aimed at addressing the employment and entrepreneurship challenges of college graduates who had not secured employment upon leaving school.

To gather advantageous resources, Guiyang and Gui'an continuously establish platforms to promote employment.

Notably, the Guizhou Employment Promotion Association and the Nanming district government jointly established the Nanming Human Resources Industrial Park in Huaguoyuan. The first phase of this project has been completed and put into use, with over 20 enterprises of considerable strength already stationed there.

As of now, Guiyang and Gui'an have established 31 entrepreneurship incubation bases, nurturing over 1,700 startup entities and creating jobs for more than 6,300 individuals.

Additionally, 40 employment support workshops have been built, providing jobs for 13,500 people.

They have also developed 18 labor markets and 477 labor stations, which serve nearly 2,000 people daily.

Furthermore, Guiyang and Gui'an have cultivated and certified 29 labor service brands. These brands have helped nearly 180,000 individuals find employment.
