Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have taken on a series of measures to help college and university graduates gain employment.

From August to December 2023, Guiyang and Gui'an held five livestreaming sessions focusing on job promotions. They invited 44 well-known companies to participate in these activities and promoted 218 job positions. Currently, 147 people have signed formal work contracts thanks to these efforts.

Last year, the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security collaborated with industry departments, insurance companies, and district-level human resources and social security departments to encourage and guide various employers to create and promote open job positions.

The bureau promoted a total of 199,100 job positions for graduates in 2023, providing a variety of job opportunities for graduates to find employment.

Also, based on the academic qualifications and professional status of graduates from 74 colleges and universities in Guizhou, information on open job positions has been sent to matching graduates through the Zhurencai app.

Graduates were also provided with services such as apartment allocated for talents, college student entrepreneurial subsidies, and entrepreneurial loans through various channels.

In addition, job search training camp activities for graduates were launched, and career guidance and entrepreneurship guidance sessions were carried out. This helped graduates improve their job search success rate.

Guiyang and Gui'an have established and improved a real-name ledger of unemployed graduates who have left school, providing them with "131 services", that is, one career guidance, three job recommendations, and one career training or internship opportunity.

Since last year, Guiyang and Gui'an have helped 7,877 unemployed graduates find jobs or start businesses.

Guiyang and Gui'an have also held youth job search competitions to effectively guide and help college graduates and other young people to enhance their employment awareness.

In the First Guiyang Youth Job Search Competition, which was held at the end of last year, 120 contestants advanced to the semi-finals. In the final round of the competition, about 50 companies were invited to the site for recruitment purposes, and 63 people got job offers.
