Since the beginning of the year, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have accelerated the construction of a regional talent hub, supporting the Strengthening Provincial Capital campaign.
On April 27, the 12th Professionals Convention, Guizhou, opened in Guiyang, becoming a shining symbol of talent attraction. In May, Guiyang and Gui'an's Talent Day outreach activities visited Chongqing, Wuhan, and Tianjin, actively inviting young talent through promotion and on-site recruitment.
Guiyang and Gui'an have also focused on supporting local talent by providing precise job placements, policies, and services to graduates from provincial universities and Guizhou natives studying outside the province. On April 12, a spring campus job fair was held in Guiyang, where 104 employers offered over 3,200 positions, received 2,156 resumes, and secured employment intentions with 767 individuals.
In the first half of the year, Guiyang and Gui'an identified 122,000 suitable job opportunities, conducted 143 enterprise visits, engaged with 540 companies, created 2,309 new positions, and identified a demand for 15,000 workers.
By enhancing talent services, Guiyang and Gui'an ensure talent retention. In April, Gui'an introduced 286 affordable rental apartments, supporting the influx of industrial talent.
With a total talent pool of 1.52 million, Guiyang and Gui'an exude urban vitality with opportunities everywhere. Future efforts will concentrate on effective policy implementation, talent development, industry-talent integration, and continuous enhancement of talent services, promoting high-quality development in Guiyang and Gui'an.
