Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have consistently promoted the "Talent-Driven City" strategy, providing vital talent support for the "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" campaign.
In so doing, they have increased awards and subsidy standards, optimized application conditions, and simplified the redemption process for talents.
They have also revised and issued detailed rules for talent attraction and introduction subsidies. Additionally, they established a talent information verification mechanism, as well as a two-level fund redemption mechanism, thereby improving the efficiency of policy implementation.
Meanwhile, they continue to improve their talent housing security system. The establishment of the "Gui'an Talent Homes" has created an all-in-one service platform that integrates talent achievement displays, exchanges, training, and services.
In the last year, 3,112 high-level and urgently needed talents were introduced. An additional 62,800 talents were introduced to the manufacturing, big data, and rural areas. The number of college graduates remaining in the city exceeded 120,000.
In 2023, Guiyang and Gui'an redeemed a total of 20.21 million yuan in various talent funds, benefiting 1,128 enterprises and 3,656 individuals.
