Job fair facilitates local employment opportunities

The 2024 "Spring Breeze Action" special job fair was held in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 21.

Under the guidance of the Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security, the job fair aimed to facilitate local employment.

After meticulous organization and extensive publicity efforts, the job fair attracted the enthusiastic participation from local enterprises.

Over 50 companies, including Geely Automobile, Zhong An Technology, and Yonghui Supermarket, promoted more than 3,300 job positions, covering various industries such as technology manufacturing, catering and housekeeping, finance and insurance, telecommunications, and media. This met the diverse employment needs of the attending job seekers.

Functional areas were also set up for resume review, policy consultations, and the registration of key enterprise job demands, effectively bridging the gap between job seekers and employers.

Regarding online platforms, livestreams were conducted to match job seekers with open positions, achieving multi-platform collaborative recruitment. On the day, local online job-seeking websites recorded 436,968 clicks, while 575 individuals received on-site consultations, and 163 individuals reached employment agreements.

Moving forwards, Guanshanhu district will continue to provide local employment recruitment services, and strive to give comprehensive support for priority groups and enterprises.
