These successes stem from Guiyang and Gui'an's unwavering commitment to the "Talent-Driven Development" strategy. Efforts included launching the "Zhucai" talent brand, implementing targeted actions, optimizing policies, and building platforms to attract and nurture talent.
Focused on retaining graduates and developing talent in key industries, Guiyang and Gui'an hosted 269 job fairs for graduates from 75 local universities, offering 197,200 positions. Outreach events in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai resulted in over 1,700 job agreements, with 509 contracts signed.
Manufacturing and big data sectors also saw rapid talent growth, with 23,400 and 21,000 new hires, respectively. Initiatives to integrate industry and education supported enterprise-led training, while rural areas welcomed 10,200 skilled agricultural workers.
Guiyang and Gui'an also enhanced housing and subsidies, providing 38,700 talent apartments and distributing 39.38 million yuan ($5.37 million) to 2,710 companies and nearly 5,000 professionals.
This year, Guiyang and Gui'an aim to deepen their talent strategy, driving economic and social development through a stronger, more diverse, and higher-quality workforce.
