Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province have launched services to assist rural migrant workers in safely returning home for the Spring Festival holiday period and resuming work afterward, according to the Guiyang bureau of human resources and social security.

This initiative aims to stabilize employment and increase incomes.

Service stations have been established at 44 transportation hubs, including Guiyangbei Railway Station, Guiyangdong Railway Station, and Gui'an Railway Station, as well as in towns with large numbers of migrant workers.

These stations provide hot water, charging facilities, rest areas, and employment services such as policy consultations, job recommendations, and registration. To date, they have served 3,985 people.

Since January, authorities have visited over 9,000 migrant workers and 600 enterprises to understand their employment needs and facilitate post-holiday recruitment. A survey of 1,721 respondents has been conducted to analyze workers' demographics, skills, and job preferences.

The campaign will run through March and include events like "employment assistance month" and "spring breeze action". Recruitment fairs, both online and offline, have already connected 218 companies with 374 job seekers at 15 in-person events and 283 companies with 227 applicants through 18 online fairs.

Additionally, skill training programs will be offered to local laborers, tailored to regional industries and development projects, ensuring long-term employment and economic growth.
