The 2025 Spring Breeze Action Job Fair of Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province took advantage of the local Tiaohua Festival to bring employment opportunities directly to residents of Huchao township's Zhongba resettlement town.
The event, jointly organized by the Guiyang bureau of human resources and social security, the Gui'an New Area bureau of social affairs management, and the Huchao township government, aimed to support workers transitioning jobs after the Spring Festival holiday and help businesses resume operations smoothly.

The fair was bustling with activity, featuring 15 local companies offering over 700 positions. Meanwhile, the Tiaohua Festival filled the air with sizzling street food and captivating folk performances.
"I came for the festival but didn't expect a job fair here. The positions are good, the pay is high, and it's close to home – I signed up on the spot!" said Huang Liya, a resident.
Recruiters eagerly introduced job openings and benefits to the steady stream of interested attendees. By the end of the event, over 400 people had inquired about jobs, and 72 had secured preliminary employment agreements.
Guiyang and Gui'an will continue to utilize the Spring Breeze Action to connect returning rural workers with stable employment, ensuring well-organized job placement and community support.
