A vibrant spring job fair was held on April 11 in Guizhou Science City, Guiyang, attracting nearly 2,000 job seekers with over 3,300 available positions.
More than 70 high-quality companies, including China Electronics Technology Big Data Research Institute Co, Xiaomi Group, and Geely Auto, participated in the event. Opportunities spanned industries such as high-end manufacturing and new energy, with positions ranging from HR specialists and data analysts to aircraft electrical design engineers and software developers.
Booths were crowded as job seekers lined up to speak with company representatives. "I've already submitted five resumes," said Zhao, a graduating student from Guizhou Institute of Technology. "As a fresh graduate, I value career growth and promotion pathways more than salary. Face-to-face interaction at offline job fairs really helps with signing intention agreements."
Employers also saw great results. Guizhou Zhenhua New Materials Co received over 50 resumes within just one hour. "Job seekers are very proactive today. Every position has attracted interested applicants," said one of the company's recruiters.
Organizers arranged shuttle services for students from eight universities, including Guizhou Normal University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and Guizhou Institute of Technology, to better support job matching. Direct bus services were also provided from key locations like Guizhou Financial City.
The fair featured an on-site employment and entrepreneurship service station, where expert advisors offered guidance, answered questions, and distributed the High-Tech Talent Service Guide while explaining talent policies.
Rental housing benefit policies for talent in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone were promoted to help job seekers understand local housing support and enhance their willingness to work and settle there.
The job fair collected 4,462 resumes, and 462 job seekers reached initial employment agreements.
