Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area held a special recruitment fair aimed at graduates of Guizhou Aerospace Vocational and Technical College on April 22.
A total of 51 high-quality companies participated, offering 128 jobs across sectors such as internet technology, smart manufacturing, modern services, emergency response, consumer goods, and education. Altogether, there were 843 job openings.
The event attracted over 1,000 jobseekers, who talked with company representatives to learn more about positions and explore suitable career opportunities. Companies shared details about job requirements and company policies.
A dedicated talent policy consultation area was also set up, where staff members provided information on housing subsidies, entrepreneurship support, and other government incentives. These efforts aimed to help students better understand local policies and boost their confidence in pursuing careers in Guiyang and Gui'an.
By the end of the day, 488 resumes had been submitted, with over 100 candidates reaching employment agreements.
The job fair is part of ongoing efforts to attract more university graduates to Guiyang and Gui'an, contributing to the region's high-quality economic growth.
