Guiyang Social Security Center promotes pension policies

On April 29, the Guiyang Social Security Center held a community outreach event in Gui'an New Area's Ma'an village to promote awareness of social insurance policies.

Staff members explained key aspects of the urban and rural residents' pension system using local dialect and real-life examples. Topics included eligibility, payment tiers, government subsidies, and pension calculation methods. Policy display boards and brochures were provided at the event, along with one-on-one consultations to address individual concerns.

In collaboration with local human resources departments, the center offered on-site services such as new registrations, payment adjustments, and benefit qualification verifications. A total of 23 service cases were processed, and over 100 policy-related inquiries were answered.

The center will continue to address public concerns by promoting pension enrollment and payments policies, pension benefit estimates, and pension programs for land-expropriated farmers across urban and rural areas.
