Guiyang FTZ trains foreign trade talent

The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) has rolled out the "Dandelion" Foreign Trade Talent Training Program, aiming to cultivate 10,000 highly skilled professionals in the foreign trade sector within three years.

Using platforms such as the Guiyang International Land Port, Guizhou Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park, and Guiyang Cross-Border E-commerce Talent Demonstration Base, the program adopts a blended approach of centralized instruction, on-site teaching, and experiential learning. Training targets include government officials, corporate employees, and university students.

The zone has also established a full-process training system linking target groups, training needs, curriculum design, and evaluation for continuous improvement.

The "Dandelion" program has already hosted 30 training sessions, jointly cultivating over 3,000 foreign trade professionals. It has facilitated more than 200 enterprises in exporting over 40 types of Guizhou specialty products to 148 countries and regions worldwide, generating foreign trade imports and exports exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.39 million).
