The Wudang district bureau of human resources and social security has advanced efforts in public employment services, talent development, and social security policy promotion since the beginning of this year, improving its service system to support resident income growth and enterprise development.

To improve employment services, the district has established 126 public employment platforms across urban and rural areas, along with three district-level service stations, forming a three-tiered service network at the district, township, and village levels.

The bureau has enhanced its service capacity for resident employment with the help of local service centers, employment and entrepreneurship hubs, and labor stations. So far, 18 online and offline job fairs have been held in the district, resulting in 4,413 new urban jobs, 1,184 unemployed people becoming reemployed, and 302 placements for individuals struggling to find employment.

To strengthen talent development, the bureau has implemented a lifelong vocational training system. A total of 699 targeted training sessions have been provided for enterprise employees, persons with disabilities, veterans, and other key groups to improve job skills and competitiveness. College and vocational school students have been encouraged to join entrepreneurship training programs to broaden career paths, while aspiring entrepreneurs and small and micro business owners receive policy guidance and support to foster innovation-driven employment.

To bolster the promotion of social security policies, the bureau has publicized preferential measures through both online and offline channels. Activities have been carried out in communities, villages, enterprises, and campuses to answer questions directly and improve public awareness. Social security services have been further optimized by simplifying procedures and expanding online processing.
